WHO I AM
Welcome! I'm Guterman Junior, a physicist from São Paulo, developing myself in science since 2011, focused on mathematics and physics.
My passion since childhood for understanding how everyday objects, mechanisms, and their deep details work led me to pursue this career. Throughout my journey, I had the opportunity to live in a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, starting in the universe of mathematics in one of the best environments in the world, with fascinating people, who collaborated for my personal development. This new perspective encouraged me to look at my emotional and psychological issues and shortcomings, which makes me see mathematics and psychology as a symbiosis. It was a long journey for me, without direct results, but a basic structuring that I consider fundamental to my life. I had opportunities to learn about what graduation is like at top universities, people from other countries and other cultures, to start in the world of academic research and to work in student entities, where and when I started to realize that the world (and companies) is made up of people and the human factor in project management is the essence of quality and efficiency.
I believe that my differential lies in valuing the ability to deeply analyze things, to distance oneself from the mundane and mechanical in order to have a strategic and simplistic vision, for myself and for those who are on the team with me. We understand a subject well when we can explain it simply. This brings us to a definition of creativity that I use, which is "using the solution to one problem in another problem of a seemingly unrelated nature", a cleverness in using knowledge in its purest form, not just in a small context. With my work, I intend to collaborate with scientific knowledge in an infrastructural way, carrying out research directly and helping in the strategic vision of projects, practically an application of agile methodologies in a conservative and classic academic world, even now exploring the relationship between the academic and private business worlds.
In my free time, I really enjoy doing handicrafts with wood and metal, creating pieces applicable to environments of constant use. Another hobby is "playing with the computer", which since I was a child I have this habit of studying hardware and software, preparing environments and tools for future applications (so much so that only after a mathematical maturity did I realize the application of graphics cards for games), such as discovering how "Linux" systems work, using networks for files and using other machines, virtualization, and more recently the compartmentalization of applications and how to direct these compartments, approaching the concept of cloud. This made me today able to configure a machine from scratch to the publication of this website and to work other services in parallel safely over the internet.
I invite you to get to know me better and explore my work! I'm glad you read this far.
